Magic Mouse doesn't scroll and doesn't right-click

My Magic Mouse 2 occasionally (very often, about every 10 minutes) starts randomly zooming in and out and the right click stops working or replaces left-click. The touchscreen-like gestures die (no scroll, no zoom, no multiple-tap), exception made for the autonomous random zoom in & out previously mentioned. Turning the mouse on and off solves the issue before it comes again after few minutes. The sensor on the bottom is clean, already tried removing the device and pairing it again and deleting preferences but nothing worked. I'm on a MBP 16" running Catalina 10.15.7
