sting 2020 MBP M1 to 2010 iMac as target display

I have been using my 2010 iMac as target display with my 2017 MBP 15", it works well and reliably. I use a OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock to interface with several HDD as well. The mini display port connects to the iMac.

I have ordered a 2020 MBP M1and plan to use the same setup. Will the new M1 MBP work using the same setup?
