Right AirPod speaker not working well

on the right side of my airpod, the microphone speaker is not working well, the other side is muffled, not hearing well from me. How To Fix Your AirPods’ Microphone To Work Better On Phone Calls And Not Cut Out!

The symptoms seem to indicate that they need to be cleaned:

How to clean your AirPods and EarPods

If no help, try a full reset:

How to clean your AirPods and EarPods

For microphone issues, try this:

Open the Settings app and go to the Bluetooth section. Next to the AirPods entry on the list of devices, you should see an “i” icon inside of a circle. Tap this, then select microphone, and set it to either left, right or automatic. Try switching it back and forth.
