Slow motion sound

Hello,

Just curious if anybody is aware of a fix for this admittedly ‘niche’ problem/issue with slow motion video? This is on a iPhone 12 Pro.

Problem: When taking slow motion video, the sounds do not sync up with the action. The sounds occur approximately about 1 second before they should. (I usually run 240 FPS)

example: take a video of yourself snapping your fingers or clapping. Do the sound match up exactly? On my 12 pro, the clapping sound occurs approximately one second before my hands meet.

Again, very small niche type problem - but I take tons of slow motion videos with my son (silly stuff, like matchbox car crashes, etc.) On all of my prior iPhones (6, 8, 11), the sounds matched perfectly with the action on screen - so in the example above the clap sound would occur when the hands met....now it’s off. So, just curious if anyone else encountered this?

Note: I brought my phone into apple Genius Bar (for an unrelated issue - phone dropping signal) and brought this issue up, but they were not aware of a fix. They did report the issue to apple however. Of course, this is a minor issue and likely not at the top of a priority list, so I thought I would check the community.

Thanks!
