After installing Big Sur on MacBook Pro 13" 2017, I noticed that some photos and videos have an orange / red tint where I would expect this area to be white. Also some screen flicker and shadowing. Was all ok before the install.

This made little or no difference. Possibly worse. It has highlighted the screen deficiency showing lines under the page open. Not impressed..

We have your back when it comes to the display changes you've noticed. We know how important getting this taken care of is. Let's Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac and check if this makes a difference.
The NVRAM is related to sound volume, display resolution, startup-disk selection, time zone, and recent kernel panic information. The settings stored in NVRAM depend on your Mac and the devices that you're using with your Mac.
