Macbook Air M1 Pixel Problem

I *JUST* received my new MacBook Air M1 today and I really love it so far. It's fast and reliable.

However...

I notice that whenever I move a browser window, these small, usually green, spots/pixels appear from time to time. I am not if this is a faulty issue or if the screen is just getting accustomed to be used, but I am perplexed.

I waited three weeks for this machine, so it's kind of a bummer.

My Macbook Pro (m1 2020) has 2 brighter spots than the rest of the screen I recently discovered this about 2-3 weeks ago, didn't mind it much as I was busy and couldn't care about it at the time, however, now as I am free, its bugging me a lot especially on lighter colored apps such as google with a white background. Even while writing this I discovered 2 bright spots on the display. All my macbook has is the limited warranty, funnily enough, till feb 23 this year. Is there a possibility for them to fix this at no extra cost? It is not as obvious on darker areas of the screen, when something is darker or just not a white background it tends to blend in more and not be as obvious.

Small bright pixel(s) on screen Hello everyone, I have a new MacBook Pro that I got 2 weeks ago, and I recently noticed a minor anomaly on my screen. My experience is as follows: At the average distance from the screen I notice a bright dot - located at the bottom of the screen, and easily spotted i) when the screen brightness is high, ii) on dark pictures such as the black bars of the aspect ratio or dark backgrounds when editing videos, watching films, etc; When I squint to the screen I notice green/red colours coming out of the pixels as I check it around from multiple angles. Is there any way to fix this? And, if possible, at home? I ordered my MBP online, so I don't know if it is easier to go to an Apple Store. And I fear going to a store/service for such a minor issue would just turn up to be a waste of considerable time for the technicians when there might be way bigger client issues for them to assist. I share a photo taken by my iPhone with the bright spot (it is not the clearest, but it can give you a notion of what is going on - in reality it looks brighter resembling a small star in the sky) Thank you, João

There is no “getting accustomed to being used” with a MacBook display. It doesn’t sound right that you are seeing green spots, but without more detail or maybe even seeing it I’m not going to risk a definitive judgement. If you think there might be a problem Contact Apple Support and remember Apple has a 14 day return window, which means a defective device should normally be swapped out with a brand new replacement rather than workshopped or a reconditioned Exchange. (But remember M1 MacBooks have a lead time so don’t expect an instant replacement).
