Yep, I still don’t have chimes. And, the haptic is so faint I can barely feel it. I’m on iPhone ver 14.4 and watch ver 7..3. I have spent hours back and forth with Apple tech support checking and verifying settings but they were of no help. They would not confirm or deny that this is a bug! C’mon guys. It used to work flawlessly, then it broke.
One thing they DID confirm was that the ‘start’ chime has been removed. Why? Who knows!
it seems silly to spend so much time and energy on such a small issue but dang, this ‘was’ a really helpful little addition for an out of control pandemic. It’s not that we “need” the app. It’s that it was working perfectly and then it broke and Apple isn’t taking responsibility or admitting it’s a bug.
They even went so far as to agree to send me a new watch. If I pay $79 (apple care plus). For a software bug??
Anyway, the support people said if enough people call or enter a support ticket on this, it will help get developers to look into it quicker. Just bringing it up on discussion boards won’t help.
I think I’ve spent enough time on this to last a lifetime 😊. Hopefully, they’ll fix it. Soon.
