With the release today, can two users do an exercise at the same time on AppleTV?

I am so disappointed since this feature was the main reason me and my boyfriend got the Apple watches.
I can still record the workouts by clicking start in my watch, but it’s not the same as seeing both of our progresses in the TV.
APPLE, PLEASE FIX THIS!
I’m sure they considered this feature but it was not deemed as essential for the initial launch. If it means leaving the feature out to get the product launched before Christmas vs trying to get the feature in and delaying Fitness+ until 2021, i’m sure most people would prefer getting it out first and wait for the update.
I agree with the others below this is something that should have been thought about and added at the beginning, as with the current world wide situation where we find so many of us at home, home schooling, working from home etc. working out together is common. ATM I am having to launch the work out on my phone they same time as my partner in order to get to workout together. This is the only thing I can see letting the app down, I am loving the work outs, although some I am not able to do as don't have certain equipment at home, but the no equipment ones I am loving. Keep them coming Apple!

100% agree. It would be great to work out with my wife or a friend and see the status on the Apple TV.
You should give put that feedback where Apple can see it:
I like the Fitness + on the apple TV... really cool, but I definitely think that it needs to show more watches than one at a time. When do you think Apple will update the software to enable this?
I agree this is a must!
Totally agree. My wife and I work out together so having the ability for both of us to sign in at the same time would be ideal.
I agree this should definitely be a feature update in a future release. We can pair two pairs of AirPods to our Apple TV there is no reason we should be able to use two watches while using fitness +
Cross finger they add it on the next update. I actually went to their feedback and added a feature request for the fitness +. Maybe everyone should. Might get it that way.
Search The Feedback portal on the Apple website
Yes. It’s crazy how you can family share all the apps and services but only one person at a time can exercise through fitness +. Come on Apple! Do the right thing!

Just posted under Apple Watch and feature request. Thanks for the link.
The more people who do, the more likely Apple is to consider it.
Best of luck.

This is a must, 2-4 people working out same time
If this is important to you, you should tell Apple:
I agree that this is a great feature for couples or workout partners. We're using a workaround to get the same result: one of us signs on with the Apple TV, and the other signs on using their iPhone. We press play together , then we both follow the TV version. We can only see one set of vitals onscreen, but at least for now we're moving together. I hope dual sign in, with dual vitals displayed is in the works.
This is good reasoning on your part. It seems like an oversight and I hope that it is and that they resolve it with a software update.
Apple does like to up-sale products. I wonder if this is intended to be a feature in the next Apple TV rumored to be released next year. It could be a tipping point to encourage an upgrade?
