USB Superdrive

My Mac does not have a USB port. When I plug my USB SuperDrive into a multi port device and then to the c port on my Mac it tells me my SuperDrive needs a power source? The multi port has only a HDMI x 1, USB x 3 and a SD/TF card reader. Nowhere to plug a power source? Any ideas?

Thanks George.

Hi,

USB Superdrive is bus powered equipment. If your Multi port device can handle bus powered equipments, USB Superdrive is detected by your MacBook Pro.

If it doesn't, you need to get USB-C to USB adapter or self powered multi ports adapter.
