When I get on safari and go to more shady websites these little bars will pop up at the top telling me that I have a virus on my phone and I’m a little scared that I might. I would like to know if they’re telling the truth or they’re just trying to get me to do something.

They are not telling the truth. They are criminals attempting to either have you download some useless or expensive app. Or they are attempting to steal your personal and financial information. Do not interact with such scam sites.

Those are fake. The only way a website can actually check if there's malware on an iPhone is if you've just uploaded a file to it.
