Cannot access iPhone videos on Facebook comment.

I am using an iPhone 10 XS max

when I try to upload a video to a Facebook comment, group post, I can see my photos, but not the videos I have taken and are stored on my phone.

I can start a new status post, and the videos are present. But when I try to reply to a group post, where others are uploading their videos, I cannot see mine when I click the camera icon in the post. All of my photos show up, but none of my videos do. I have spent days trying to Google and figure this out myself. But none of the solutions are working.

I have seen hundreds upon hundreds of posts just like the one I am creating, but no actionable solution that works. So, does anyone have a solution to this problem.
