New M1 mac mini crashes for no apparent reason???

Never had an issue with my Mac mini 2018 but this new Silicone M1 keeps crashing on me. It does it with FCPX, Compressor, Toast and just now on this website with Safari running alone. I did the migration from the old Mac to this new one so it's the same software I had before. It goes into "slow motion" spinning wheel and has to be rebooted to reset software issues. It then takes a long time to shut down but restarts quickly. I can't begin to describe the work around I have go through to get a video on a DVD.

Just to make things interesting the mouse goes "invisible man" It's there and you can click on things but you can't see a mouse until you reboot. My external Blu-Ray burner used to work fine but it now spits out expensive coasters. DVDs that do burn often show up as empty boxes on the desktop and clicking on them is a challenge. Essentially you have to "box" them with the mouse and drag them to the DVD player app. Anyone else having similar issues?

I "send to Apple" all those "Problem Reports" hoping it helps develop fixes for everyone. The Mac is three weeks old and I'm somewhat disappointed. I wish I hadn't sold the 2018 Mac mini last week, I'd return this one. Now I have to live with it.

Any suggestions on any of these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Mac mini 2018 or later

1) You seem to have an "Antivirus One" application. Third party antivirus should not be used.

2)

There is a lot of old stuff in there.

Kernel extensions that are old may cause problems. This may be even more complicated by the fact that these extensions were not only coded for an older version of the OS, they were for a completely different system architecture.

I would get rid of the EyeTV stuff - it cannot be used, anyway.

Also, the external SSD stuff by Samsung also should not be used.

Kernel Extensions:

/Applications/Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate.app

SystemAudioRecorder.kext (1.1.0 - SDK 10.6)

/Library/Extensions

Soundflower.kext (2.0b2 - SDK 10.10)

EyeTVAfaTechHidBlock.kext (1.1)

EyeTVCinergy450AudioBlock.kext (1.1)

EyeTVCinergyXSAudioBlock.kext (1.1)

EyeTVEmpiaAudioBlock.kext (1.1)

EyeTVVoyagerAudioBlock.kext (1.1)

SamsungPortableSSDDriver.kext (1.5.03 - SDK 10.7)

SamsungPortableSSDDriverX.kext (1.5.09 - SDK 10.12)

SONYDeviceType04.kext (1.4.0.11070 - SDK 10.9)

~/Library/Services/ToastIt.service/Contents/MacOS

TDIXController.kext (2.0)

In the Finder, press Command-Shift-G and type or paste

/Library/Extensions

and drag all the EyeTV files to the trash, and the Samsung ones. Enter your password when requested, then immediately restart your mac.

3) Several of the Intel applications that you have seem to be not fully working under Rosetta, the report mentions several Rosetta errors.

Thanks for the reply and sorry for having to ask this, but why are all the answers here telling people to buy something?

Sounds kind of scammy. It may be a helpful tool but I came to the Apple forum so that Apple knows there's a problem.

I shouldn't have to buy a piece of software for a brand new computer to work. Someone from Apple needs to read this stuff and suggest a solution.

My Mac Mini 2020 keeps crashing. First a green screen or some very pixeled display (see attached screen) then the system reboots.

In rare cases, I get not a green screen and something more like this ( see attached screens as reference).

In this case, I have to manually restart the device because it stays frozen

Could you give some direction?

Kind,

Daniel

Yesterday I was brave enough to update to OS 11.2.3 and this is what happened during the update.

Update was downloaded and started. All of a sudden everything crashed (see error report attached).

System restarted, I had to initiate the Update again. While installing this happened. (See video 1) https://youtu.be/PdsVisN_B0A

I waited for some time switched off the monitor, first got a black monitor, then this happened (See video 2) https://youtu.be/NTWGwfo1OCU

Any idea in what direction that could go Luis, so I get a better idea of what to tackle when talking to Apple Support?
