I have a 13 inch Macbook Pro with a touch bar. I tried logging into my macbook as usual but the cursor was stuck so I restarted my device. After I turned on the laptop again, I keep seeing these two images. The cursor is stuck on the upper left hand screen and it seems like my keyboard isn’t working as well. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?
Obviously it's looking for an external mouse and keyboard. Without the keyboard, Safe Mode likely will not work but worth a try:

Try to start up in Safe mode, then normal boot which could solve the issue.

You should not need them, better to solve this issue. As I said, start by trying Safe Mode.
I tried doing safe mode but am still having this issue. The progress bar only reaches a certain point, and the apple logo turns red. Then those two other images show up again.
