My Apple TV will not rest to factory settings. Received message unable to reset. It keeps blinking when connected. It’s been about 8 months since purchased. May I get a replacement?

If you bring in an non-functional device to Apple, still under warranty, and no physical damage, then they may decide to fix it, or replace it. Contact Apple Support.
Thanks. It’s a Apple TV 4K. I connected it to computer and starts to install and then stops and says AppleTV disconnected

That is not supposed to be possible for us mortal users. Apple TV 4K doesn’t have a USB port to make the service connection.
