2015 iMac pink tint death

It looks like my iMac has the dreaded pink ring around the edges. I have read through 5 pages of people with the same problem on Mac rumors.

It seems like there ins’t anything that can be done but to replace the screen at $700+. I am very disappointed that this isn’t a recall with so many people facing the same issue. I guess I can sell the computer to someone who likes watching 80’s soap operas. I am sure the pink glow will add to the experience.

If there is a solution please let me know.
