python opencv imshow function not working after upgrading to Macos big sur 11.1

I have recently upgraded to Mac big sur 11.1 , after this upgrade python opencv imshow and video functions are not working. It was working before the upgrade. I don't know what is wrong with this now. It is basic imshow function. Please help me to get this issue resolved.

Contact PyPy and determine if OpenCV has been made compatible with Big Sur 11.1 or not. If you do not have the current version at that link, perform a pip upgrade to the newest version, and retest. If you are on an Apple M1 device, Apple's Terminal application's Get Info panel has an option to open it in Rosetta2.
