iOS14.2 Update caused Audio and Google Login Issues

Our school uses PlayPosit.com for videos with interactions. Prior to iOS 14.2 update, we never had audio issues. Now when students attempt to play the video in Safari there is no audio even though the video has audio and sound is turned up. We have done the usual troubleshooting with updating all apps and doing hard reboots of iPads.


We have tried using Chrome as the default browser and can get the audio to play using Chrome. However, students must Clear the Cache and History each time as the Google Login will not work if the student has ever logged in on their iPad in Chrome. Even with an incognito window, they must empty cache each time. You can imagine the issues with having over 400 students needing how to learn how to do this during a pandemic.
