2020 Macbook Pro M1 keyboard and trackpad feels cheap and flimsy...

Migrating from my older Macbook Air 2012 model, the keyboard and trackpad feel flimsy and cheap. Curious if anyone else noticed this and if you think it will last as long and as durable as my old Macbook Air 2012 keyboard and trackpad? It was bulletproof and even 8 years later feels and looks great. I put in millions of miles of typing on that thing and don't feel confident the new M1 will last that long.

The feel of the new scissor keys is different from the old (pre-butterfly) design, but reportedly quite robust (unlike the butterfly keys, for which there is a Service Program to replace failed keyboards).

Regardless, you have 14 days to return your new Mac if you're not satisfied.
