Just down-loaded the Big Sur version of Pages. The icons and text that goes with are TINY! Why wouldn't they be the same as all the other interface texts?
I looked for some setting to adjust, maybe I'm missing something...

It is not limited to Pages, which was also swepted up in this Apple design insanity. As a fellow user, I cannot for the life of me understand product design rationale within Apple, or how they thought that everyone was 20 years old with hawk-like eyesight.
Send the product team your feedback from the Pages application menu.
The Pages application menu has a Provide Pages Feedback menu item. Use it constructively.
Yeah, I understand relegating secondary information to lesser prominence, but a different shade of gray would do that--and still be readable!
I'm ranting now, but my 87 year old Mom's phone is set to the biggest type size available, but the icon texts--'favorites', 'recents', etc--are STILL microscopic!
Hope somebody at Apple is reading this.....
