google meet isn't working with mac0S big sur 11.1

I did the Big Sur 11.1 (20C69) update and now I cannot use google meet. When I enter a meet I cannot see or hear anyone, I can turn my camera on and see and hear me but others can't see or hear me. I've tried on different internet browsers and it doesn't work on either. I have made sure that in privacy it allows permission. I can go on google meet with my same google account and it works on a different computer, and it seems other people who have done the update google meet aren't working for them either. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi there lolocrafts,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like Google Meet is not working with the latest macOS. We’ll be happy to help.

Did this work before updating macOS? If so, does everything else work as expected? There may be an issue with compatibility between the latest macOS and the third-party program you’re trying to use.

If possible, update the app using these steps: Use the App Store to update apps on Mac. If there is not an available update or the issue continues, you’ll want to reach out to the developer of the app for further assistance. We hope this helps.

Best regards.
