Numbers templates are gone--help
I updated Numbers and it deleted all my templates. WTH? Any idea how to recover them?

Hopefully they are still around. If you saved them to your drive, not the Template Chooser, they should not have been affected by the upgrade any more than a Word or Excel file would be affected; they are just files. If you saved them to the Template Chooser, they get placed pretty deep in the file system. If they are still there , you could try moving them to another folder (or to the desktop), then open them one by one and resave them to the Template Chooser.
I have the latest version of Numbers. I can't say for sure if the location of the user templates was in the same place in older versions. The location in the new version is, get ready...
Start by navigating to the file Users/user/Library/Containers/com.apple.iWork.Numbers
"user" is your username. The file is probably near the bottom. It is a file, not a folder.
Right click on it and click on "Show Package Contents"
Navigate further to /Data/Library/Application Support/User Templates
In that folder should be your templates, hopefully.
If not there, maybe someone with an older version can locate where they used to be and maybe they are still in whatever that folder is.
