I'm getting the message when I try to send email that the server rejected one of the recipient's addresses. Which server do they mean? Apple of my email provider? Also, anyone know how to resolve this? Apple help is no help. They just state the obvious
If the address is for example xyz@hotmail.com then the server rejecting it is hotmail.com
it usually means you got the email address wrong or they closed the account

That helped. The actual fix was to change the "port" entry on the outgoing smtp server. The default was 597 and the correct, for my email was 25.
