Attach files in Gmail Safari 14.0.2

The 14.02 update did not fix the problem of being allowed to attach files in Gmail using the attach button. When will Apple fix this? Any suggestions? Running 10.14.6 and Safari 14.0.2

Mac Pro, macOS 10.14
