Can you improve sound from MacBook Air Speakers?

I have a new M1 Air. I would like to improve the sound coming out of the speakers, especially when playing YouTube. Want a more deep full sound. Is there an EQ app to adjust this like the Apple Music app has. Thanks

Sound 'quality' on my Macbook Pro M1 The sound of my new M1 is absolutely hideous. Way too much low end, it is really unbearable. I understand that this in native for the M1 so I installed eqMac and dialed it in like this (see pic). Why does Music play significantly quieter than everything else in Montery 12.6.7? What causes Music to play significantly quieter than everything else? When using QuickTime, youtube.com and all other programs & streaming services, the volume is always twice as loud as Music on my MacBook Air 2020 (M1). If the volume is set to 50% music only plays at 25%. I've ran diagnosis however there no problem in the system. This didn't happen until more recent times & it's extremely annoying. And I cannot increase Preamp to increase the volume output because that causes sources to go from Green & Amber, to Red which causes major issues with distortion of audio output.

MacBook Pro 13-Inch M1 I have Noticed that the Speakers on my M1 MacBook Pro 13 Inch are much quieter then the MacBook Air M1. I must have the Volume all the way up for it to be normal sounding but on my MacBook air I can have it in the middle, and it sounds the same as my MacBook pro at full volume. Is this a Issue?

Hello garywi and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty with the quality of audio output on a new MacBook Air.

macOS does not have a system-wide EQ function. However there are some third-party apps for this purpose. You can find them by going to the mac App Store and searching the term "audio enhancement."
