Give a watch as a gift and don’t know wrist size

i want to give an Apple Watch as a gift but don’t know the persons wrist size. What do I do?

For the Sport bands, Sport loops, and leather bands, it won't make that much difference. However, I would recommend not purchasing one with the Solo Loop or Braided Solo Loop. The last two listed here are one piece bands and need to be sized accurately. The others are in to pieces and come to two lengths in the box and that should handle all sizes unless their wrist is extremely large.


If you are talking about case size, generally an average man's wrist is good for the 44mm, and a woman's wrist is generally the 40mm.
