Touch Bar unresponsive to touch

My Touch Bar is functioning but won't respond to my touch. I have tried the google solutions but it appears the issue is not with the function of the bar reading the computer, rather it's not re-acting to my physical touch.

Please help me and if it is a hardware problem, is there a way to control the volume without the Touch Bar!
