If you did not make these changes, or if you believe an unauthorised person has accessed your account, you should change your password as soon as possible from your Apple ID account page at https://appleid.apple.com.

I had not made any changes or accessed my account for any reason. The Apple email & email address looked legit. I opened my account in Safari to find that all my Apple ID info seemed intact & correct. I changed my password but am concerned why I would receive a notice like this from Apple when I didn't make any changes myself.

Please Advice

Thanks.

  1. Go to iforgot.apple.com.
  2. Enter your Apple ID, then select Continue.
  3. Choose the option to reset your security questions, then select Continue.
  4. Enter your Apple ID password, then select Continue.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to verify your identity. The information you’re asked to provide may vary based on your account details and other factors. If you don't get any options to verify your identity, you can't reset your security questions at the moment.
  6. Choose new security questions and answers, and select Continue.
