Preview keeps crashing on me. Right now, I'm trying to reduce the file size, but it crashes for lots of reasons. I'm on MacOS 10.15.7, but this crashing started before I upgraded.
Any ideas of how to get Preview to stop crashing or an alternative way of reducing the file size of a pdf?

Test after using First Aid on the start up disk:
Repair a storage device in Disk Utility on Mac - Apple Support
