Unable to update or install new apps on iPhone 12 Pro
Hello everybody,
A week ago I received my new iPhone 12 Pro, and was very happy with it. I updated to iOS 14.3 without issues. Everything was working flawlessly, until yesterday at night. There were 3 updates in the AppStore, I hit Update, it downloaded the updates, installed them, and then all over the same cycle (downloading and installing) to finally have the Update button again. If I push it, the same happens all over again, it’s a loop!
I have tried downloading new apps, they download in the Home Screen, after downloading they install and install grayed out. If I tap them, the same loop: downloading, installing, grayed out app.
So far I have tried without success: restarting the iPhone, hard restarting the iPhone (volume up, down and power button until the Apple logo appears), restore network settings, set time to manual and then to automatic again, signed out and in again from the AppStore, and also tried to download without WiFi with my cellular network.
My iPad Pro 11 downloads and updates normally, and it’s using the same account!
I contacted Apple, and they don’t know what to do, they told me to call them on business hours to escalate this to an engineer.
So, I’m wondering if this problem has to do with my device, or it’s something on Apple’s side? Because it was working flawlessly, I didn’t touch anything, didn’t make any change whatsoever, and out of the blue now I have this problem!
What do you guys advice to do?
I have really ran out of possible solutions, so frustrating having bought a new device to have this!
