BigSur BigProblems Mac Air 2020

My Mac Air 2020, purchased in october worked amazingly on catalina. But somehow after the bigsur update, the mac has gotten slower, the fans start spinning on google drive videos, Presentations and audios or what not. What to do!!!?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.0

That "runaway process" can be identified by using Activity Monitor: View CPU activity in Activity Monitor on Mac - Apple Support. It's probably one of Goolag's multiple personal information-harvesters at work.

Time Machine Not Configured!


If you don't back up your Mac, by definition the prospect of permanently losing all its information does not concern you. Some people don't care and that's ok.
