Transparency of PNG on iMovie using iPhone

Help! I cannot get a red circle png to be transparent on a highlight video I’m making in iMovie on my iPhone. I’ve triple checked each image to be sure they are png and not jpeg. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I’ve spent hours and days on this.

Importing to iMovie and it's putting a filter on all movies When I import a clip into imove, its putting a white filter on every video. Why is this happening? I've never used iMovie on this Mac, only on my iPhone. I'm using my new iPhone 13 Pro. to film Most movies were on "cinema" mode. I already tried deleting iMovie preferences, that didn't work. I also tried changing the pixels on the movies (as in another forum said to do) but that doesn't work. What else could it be? I'm stressing because I have to have these put together for a presentation in a few days. Thanks for any help!

"The Cinematic effect can’t be enabled" message on iMovie I recently got a iPhone 14 pro max.. I shoot a video using cinematic effect which can be edited on photos in the iPhone. however importing the video to iMovie on Mac (from the photo library panel on the left) any attempt to edit the Depth of Field will result in an error message saying "The Cinematic effect can’t be enabled." iMovie version: 10.3.4 / build 405402 iOS version: 16.0.1 (20A371) iOS can edit with no issues the cinematic effect in photos an iMovie iOS
