Do I need 2 separate plans for my iPhone and Apple Watch?

Wait so your saying you must have 2 separate plans to have your phone and Apple Watch ? Or can you use your phones plan and share it with your watch ?

If it's a cellular watch you pay a monthly plan on top of your existing contract.

If it's a GPS only watch there isn't any plan,you make calls and texts through your phone that you have to have with you.
