Casting from Apple Music to google Chrome Cast

Since this feature recently worked, it should be supported. Try restarting your Chromecast and your Android phone and check for updates on your phone and Chromecast. Also, make sure that your phone and your Chromcast are connected to the same network. If you have a router that broadcasts on multiple bands, you would need to connect both to the same band.

Can confirm this is solution to the problem.

I had exact same issue - - for 3ish days, after an apple music update, casting Apple Music to Google Home devices suddenly stopped working ("Device not supported" despite previously working, flickering screen, etc.).

Simple reinstall of Apple Music did the trick, Apple Music now casts to Google Home devices properly as before.
