Buffer ICON on iPhone7

Hi Team,

I can see a buffer icon on top left screen. this is always on, whereas i have switched off Back up sync with iCloud.

Please check the pic attached.

That icon is normal. The icon

show there’s network activity.

But this was not the case since last years. I observed from the latest iOS update. I am right?

also, what kind of network activity is going in background? there is no detailed explanation on the website.
