Accidentally deleted original iPhone maps app.maps

Accidentally deleted maps. Following the previous answer, I opened App Store, found maps (not imap or google map, the map app that came on original iPhone. I do not see a download symbol, just see an open symbol. I open, the map is useable but does not download, and no icon shows when I want to reopen.....
