Uploading video (MP4) to iCloud Photos via the .com

Trying to upload mp4's to iCloud Photos via the website. The MP4 files are greyed out. I've tried all browsers and iCloud for windows. I have plenty of available drive space. What is the deal Apple? Acknowledge this! We know you know.

iCloud Photos only store videos taken with iOS device? Upon logging into icloud.com on my PC and navigating to Photos, I can see all videos taken with my iOS device. However, uploading photos (in .jpg format only), is not an issue to convert from other formats, it's the videos that are the problem. I'm wondering why you can only download videos from iCloud Photos, and not upload. I understand that uploading videos to iCloud drive is possible, but not for iCloud photos? Thx!

.mov videos not uploading to iCloud Photos I cannot upload my .mov videos currently residing in my MacBook Pro as part of "Photos" to iCloud Photos. Any news on whether or not iCloud Photos support this file format? Why would they be supported on Photos and not iCloud Photos...(basically, the videos do not get sync'ed??). I could upload them to iCloud Drive, but they do not become part of my iCloud Photos, which is what I need. Is there any work around?

Download JPG from iCloud (Windows) Hello! I always downloaded photos and videos in JPG and MP4 format from iCloud. But now I can download photos only in HEIC and MOV format. If I change the download options, it works only for one file! If I try to download more than one file, I still get a HEIC and MOV. I need to download a lot of files in JPG and MP4 format. I didn't have these problems before. Before this, I just clicked the download button and received the JPG and MP4 format. But now it doesn't work.
