Cannot reassign a track in Logic Pro X

Hi,

I am using Logic pro 10.5.1 and I am experiencing an issue

I created 2 software instruments track, then I try to reassign one of them.

When I right click on the track I cannot see the `Reassign track` option in the dropdown menu.

Any idea why?

Unable to Track Stack Hey there- I recently made the switch to Logic Pro. I am trying to utilize the Track Stack feature, and in all of the help threads I find it says to right click on the track header and the option will appear. I have clicked around a bunch to make sure I'm clicking the correct location on the track header, but the option never appears. I have alternatively tried to do it through the "track" menu, but most of the options are greyed out. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Track recording issue Hi! I had asked this question before some months ago, however, if I'm not mistaken I never received a reply. Worked around it at the time. An idiot question? Perhaps. But issue has me stumped nonetheless. Here goes again. Suddenly, without any obvious reason in my current project, when I record a track, a very brief one for instance, I discover I have a very long track in my window with my brief idea repeated ad infinitum (it seems), parsed with little notches in the track. I have no use for this feature in the manner in which I work. How do I disable? Must have triggered accidentally via keystrokes? Thanks in advance! LPX idiot

Select mass global tracks without selecting regions Logic has a weird bug where if I select all, move it, then undo, none of the global tracks move back to their original position (bug report submitted to Apple). So, for now, I need to know how to select a large number of global tracks. I have something with 20 markers, about 10 meter changes, numerous tempo changes. In every other program on the computer, shift-click accomplishes exactly this. It selects everything between what is highlighted and the click. In Logic, shift-click only selects what is clicked (which for the rest of the computer is command click, which in Logic is the secondary tool selector).

I have no explanation. That happened to me some time ago too. It didn't last. The problem mysteriously disappeared in the same way it appeared.

My advice is to restart logic. If that doesn't help, restart your computer. And since your project is still empty, create a new one.

I figured out why it was not showing. To enable that feature you need to go in advanced settings and enable Advanced Editing
