iPad stops working when I try to add widgets.

Whenever I go to edit the widgets and then click on add button the iPad stops working it gets hang and even the power button stops working. Then after 20-30secs after it gets to the normal.

It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue where your iPad is becoming unresponsive when you attempt to add a new widget in Today View as outlined here:

Have you had a chance to update the iPadOS on your iPad recently? We’re asking because there was a few widget related fixes in a recent update that may help. If you haven’t already, try updating. We should be on iPadOS 14.3 now.
