Perform inventory on the iPad and attach a scanner for product barcodes

i want to buy an ipad for business purposes. i have a import and export business and i want an ipad for that. i want top be able to perform inventory on the ipad and also attach a scanner to it for scanning the product barcodes. can i please be helped with this.

Iphone 13 Barcode Scanner I recently upgraded to an iphone 13 from an iphone 7. I work a part time retail job for which the corporation supports an app for managing inventory, etc. The app supports the ability for scanning a barcode which in turn displays relevant information about the supply. I had no problem whatsoever scanning those barcodes with my iPhone 7. However, my iphone 13 will not scan those same barcodes. I hover the scanner over the barcodes and receive no response. Has anyone else experienced similar?

Syncing from iPad Pro to other devices I have a restaurant. I want to purchase an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and use them for taking down handwritten reservations. I would need for the “handwritten reservation sheet” to sync across different devices (devices that are not connected to the same Apple ID) and also would need to be able to edit and add to to the “handwritten reservation sheet” from those different devices. The ability to add text to the document would be necessary because some would be adding information from iPhones and without an Apple Pencil. Of course I Would want it to update in real time. I’ve visited an Apple store and chatted at length with an Apple representative online with no real outcome on whether or not this is a possibility.

You'll need to contact your inventory management platform provider to ask if this is possible, if so, if there is an app or web app for it, and if possible, what barcode scanners they support.
