Why my phone always requires activation when I swap sim card. Phone unlocked. With physical sim activation goes thru but if I trying to install eSim it stuck and I do have get new Physical card again and again
yes my carrier support eSim, and I was used in my old phone. After I got replacement phone all this starts. So far My carried and apple changed 4 new phones and around 20 new eSim 🤨 I believe there is issues with my Apple ID. Got appointment again to Genius Bar next week 🤦♂️ So when I’m inserting physical sim activation requires and after while phone starts working. But when trying eSim, it stuck on activation 🤷♂️
When you insert a SIM card the phone needs to verify that the network operator will accept it. That is what activation does. Are you sure your carrier supports eSIM?

eSIM has nothing to do with your Apple ID. You can even use an iPhone if you don’t have an Apple ID, so the problem needs to be resolved with your carrier.
