Iphone 12 Pro Max 128gb Graphite Version - Photos taken with selfie camera , adjusting/flickering/processing when viewing in photo app.

I was trying out the new camera and noticed that everytime I took a selfie with the selfie camera , and i viewed the photos after the photo kinda goes weird for 1 second like its beautifying processing the image , making the picture brighter etc is this normal ? this problem doesn't happen on the main camera , just when i use the selfie camera.

upgrading from iphone 8 plus to iphone 12 so I don't know if this is a feature.
