iMovie missing media

Meanwhile, can you determine which files are missing? Are any of them black with a "?" mark on them? If so, you can try locating the clip in the My Media browser that displays clips when you click on the library's name in the My Media sidebar of the project. If you find any of the missing clips you can drag them from the media browser onto to the Project Media item at the top of the project side bar. That will put them into the project. This would assume that the problem is a defective link rather than the file actually being missing from your library.
