Iphone 12 Pro Max pictures are white when viewing

I’ve had my IPhone 12 Pro Max for 2 days, and after I took a photo and tried to view it, the screen was white. When I looked at my camera roll, I could see the photo in its entirety, but click on it and try to view it, white.

Trying to edit the photo did nothing, as I received an error message that the photo could not be edited. Interestingly enough, after I did a hard boot/restart on my phone, I was able to view the picture without issue. Has anyone had this problem with the new iPhone 12, and if so, any answers as to why this is occurring?

Restart your phone. This will fix it.

Doing a soft reset on my iPhone 12 Pro Max fixed it for me.

Mine just started doing this today. I take the pic, it shows for like 2 seconds then I get white screen. In the camera roll i see the small version of it but when I click on it..white...Also noticed other pics I took say 5mins ago are finally showing up in the main viewing screen......As if I bought a polaroid that needs to be shaken to develop ...This is not cool!!! WTF....
