We have an Amazon Echo Dot and are trying to link my daughters Apple Music account to Alexa, but it will not link successfully. I have tried the recommended method of logging in to the Alexa account on a different device and going to Alexa.amazon.com but this still results in the 'Linking unsuccessful' message. There is no useful information on how to solve this anywhere, so am beginning to think that it is not possible.

I followed these exact steps, the process works for my Apple ID but not for my daughter’s.
I have seen comments that it is not possible to link a child’s account to Alexa but there is no reference to this either in Apple’s or Amazon’s support documents.
