Fitness+ won’t use screen mirroring

There is no link there to the product “Fitness+” that I can find. Maybe you can post a link to the actual site where we can provide product feedback to that PARTICULAR product, ie, Fitness+.

This a REAL problem for those of us trying to use Fitness+ on a large-screen TVs in our homes—-it seems it can’t be done. I’d like to know if this is a hardware problem (doesn’t seem to be, to me) or an oversight in designing the app. I can’t imagine Apple would purposely exclude the ability to link a device with Fitness+ to a TV. But then again, with Apple sometimes you never know...nevertheless, I think those of us who have paid for the app, either directly or by purchasing a new Apple Watch, are owed some sort of explanation and maybe even some details regarding Apple’s plans to please their large and so-far loyal base!

I would suggest using either the Watch section or the Apple TV section.

But, at this time, Apple does not share that opinion. And, based on the volume of posts in this forum (it's one of the largest of its kind in the world), sifting through it for feedback would be completely impractical. Submit feedback appropriately. The more people who do, the higher the likelihood that Apple will give the issue consideration.

They have only recently added Fitness+ as a specific feedback category.

Apple- I started my 3 month free trial and ended up canceling it day 1 because of this. You should know that if people won’t even use their entire FREE trial that something is very wrong with this app. I find it useless if I can’t get my workout to display on a screen larger than my phone. I usually love apple products and their easy to use systems but this free trial is you trying to trick current apple customers into buying a brand new Apple TV and then hope they fall in love with your service on top of that. There is no reason why screen share should not work with this service. I’m very disappointed.

Very disappointed in the fact the workout video won’t mirror to my tv. As an older man with bad eyesight I can’t see the workout on my phone without my glasses. I was so excited to start this morning only to be frustrated. Please fix this or I’m done after my free trial.

How does that provide protection? Is Apple TV any safer? Can’t someone use the AV output of the Apple TV the same way as the AV output of the iPhone or iPad AV adapters?

Let’s hope they add the functionality. They’ve provided no reason yet as to why it’s missing.

Is anyone from Apple actually monitoring this thread? Is this going to be patched??

I would select Apple Watch.

That's terrible, Apple should support the use of other devices, not just apple TV on fitness+

So silly. I just set up my iPad to tv home gym and realized I can’t watch the videos. I’ll be cancelling the free trial. I was so excited. STUPID!

Funny how you can watch a 30 second preview in AirPlay, but they wont let you watch the full video. Come on Apple! Don’t disappoint. It was so promising.
