Hi All,
I have a question: I am about to buy a new Macbook pro, and want to buy apple care. Although I will buy the laptop in California ( where I am from), I currently live in France. Can i buy the laptop in the USA and then buy the apple care when I return to France later next month?

Since we are all other users here, you best check with Apple. I believe you need to buy it in the same country so there is no confusion. You also must buy it within 60 days. But, best check with Apple.
