Your payment method was declined

Im really getting ****** off. I keep getting "Your payment method was declined" when I try to purchase an e-mail voucher for a friend. I have spent 2.5 hours trying to solve this, I know how much my friend would appreciate it else I would tell apple to get fu$%ed since getting help does not seem possible. I have tried 2 different accounts. I just want to buy a freaking voucher or punch an apple employee. Anyone know what is going on?

I am getting the same problem. I have tried all of the above except checking with my bank, I am hoping that is it. But what really ****** me off is the fact that I can't update my apps that have been payed for or which are free, neither can I download new free apps. Apple should really fix this problem. Very tempeted to completely drop apple products and use android instead.

Yep Im starting to think screw apple aswell they dont seem to care for there customers & neither do they listen or fix problems the company is getting worse & worse & all they seem to care for is money & selling bullcrap products that are full of problems.Im quiet frustrated & annoyed off with apple & i think there soon to loose me as a customer anyone esle would be wise to do the same unless your happy with a company that doesnt care for you & fix there products.


P.S haha i guess they dont like ppl saying there pisssed off with aple , my post got censored lol.

OMG I've finally sorted this after days of searching and contacting support and getting nowhere...I was using my usual card when it kept getting declined, I tried 2 other cards and got the same declined message, I was only trying to update apps for free so couldn't understand why it was being declined, then I thought about how the iPhone bill comes days after purchasing things so thought maybe there wasn't anything in the account at the time of them deciding to take it, there was a few quid in my account that I use for apps so tried transferring more in to it...and finally that solved the problem, I attempted to download a free app and it worked, I then checked my bank and £9 had come out, so obviously that amount was still owed from previous downloads, could of been from up to a week ago as that's how long it can take up to for them to take it, not sure if that's the reason for everyone but that's what solved the problem in my case, like me u might have some money in the account and only be downloading free apps but if previous bills haven't been took out yet it will stop u from doing anything further at the app store, hope that helps as I know it's frustrating as **** getting no response from apple.

Thank you Meakin30. This solved it for me. I had bought an app about a week ago and and no payment had been taken until I just tried to download another one. I had the money at the time but none in my account just now so couldn't download anything even free apps! Moved some money into my account and bingo all working again and payment taken immediately. Thanks again for figuring it out.

I get the message ur payment method has been declined please enter a new one.... All that happened was my money went in a day later than usual so payment didn't go through now I can't buy anything else!!! Sort it out apple I'm fed up with all this now istore doesn't work most of the time and now it is for a minute I cant buy anything!!! I thought iPhones were meant to be awesome!!! Sick and tired of this do u want my money or not?????
