Repeated Apple magic mouse failures 2020

Magic Mouse has failed again – discontented from Bluetooth a week ago, came back briefly over the weekend, back it's gone again and "undiscoverable" – as I always do, charge it fully and this time used more than one coil and connection. Still nothing.

it's 2020, and it feels like this is one of Apple's weak links – I have two other mouses on ym desk, same thing, won't charge, won't connect or both.

Restart multiple times. √ check - on/off Bluetooth √ check - updates done √check

what else? or do I just need to start a Pet Sematary?
