My files are getting overwritten

I closed a PDF file after taking few notes on it and suddenly few of my files turned into the exact same file. Names are the same but when I open them, they are the same thing, like other PDF files were overwritten by one file. I can't access those files. I use the files app to write on PDF files. I don't use a third party app.

Apple files bug I have many documents saved on apple files (.pdf most of all) and at times a file gets all the content replaced with the content in the previous file. Duplicating files locks the file name Since updating to Ventura 13.4.1 whenever I duplicate a file, I'm unable to change the name of the file. I can open it and make edits, and I can edit the original file's name, but not the duplicate. My files are hosted on Dropbox, so that could be an issue? Please tell me there's a fix, I need this function for work.
