I recently updated my Macbook Pro to Big Sur 11.1 and decided to delete and renew all my finger prints because my laptop is having issues identifying it. After that, i pressed add finger print but it doesn't display the screen where the fingerprint is being detected. I've tried resetting and it still didn't work.

If that doesn't help, the fact that it wasn't recognizing your old fingerprints may mean the TouchID sensor has failed, so you may want to contact Apple Support directly:
